Regreets

Regret, a burden we all bear, A weight upon our hearts we share. It whispers in our ears at night, And haunts us with its endless might.

We mourn the chances we did not take, And the paths we chose to forsake. Regret, a thief of our peace of mind, A reminder of the past left behind.

But though regret may fill us with sorrow, It also shows us a brighter tomorrow. For in our mistakes, we find the way, To live our lives a little better each day.
