CRY-BABY STU THE UNWANTED ZOMBIE TOY (+ Polyphonic Prose)

He will roam around older homes, whether they want him or not, and can’t easily be stopped. Cry-baby Stu, the unwanted toy, simply stays to only annoy.

He mumbles his gruesome jingles, all the time, making silly warnings as juvenile rhymes, “If your name is Gus, you’ll get hit by a city bus. If your name is Jack, you’ll be the snack in a shark attack. If your name is Sue, don’t unscrew the sticky glue. If your name is Belle, don’t yell down the wishing well. If your name is Kyle, stay away from hungry crocodiles.” His childish predictions never come true, but he loves to do whatever bothers you.   Whatever you do or say, to make Cry-baby Stu go away, he will still come back the very next day.

If you want him to go, there’s only one way. Empty your pockets of mints and lint. Whatever he says, don’t flinch or squint. Pay him no mind, turn your backs so he’s always behind.   It sounds simple for anybody to do. Once he starts to cry, it’s harder to ignore the unwanted zombie toy, Stu.
