This isn’t the kind of art I usually share, but it comes from the heaviest part of my heart. I’ve walked through something no one should ever have to endure, and today that weight feels especially heavy. With great love comes great loss — and mine came suddenly, painfully. Two days after Christmas last year, my sister left us in a tragic moment of pain. I was the one who found her, and not a day passes that I don’t carry that memory with me.
This piece is a reflection of myself and my grief. Tragic loss is unlike any other — it strikes without warning, it shatters, it lingers. This is my attempt to capture both the beauty of love and the devastation of losing it. Please be gentle with me as I share this part of my journey.
Life is worth living, so don’t give up.

Sorrowful Dance Above Broken Reflections
This image shows a woman dancing above shattered glass. She wears a flowing dress and her face is tear-stained, yet she moves with fragile beauty. The image is rendered with dreamlike, cinematic hyperrealism.

It's a beautiful picture and shows that love can break into pieces making you fall. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your sister, it's especially hard when it's your sibling so close to Christmas. It's pain and a reminder that won't ever go away especially when loss is sudden. I've had a lot of loss in my life and tell everyone the easiest is when you know and can say a proper good bye. Those who are gone suddenly it hurts more, takes longer to put yourself back together enough to remember the great things about those you lost. It's a pain that will never go away but you learn that the heart has a never ending ability to grow as long as you allow it to.
