Crystal Hatchling

Behavior: Crystal Hatchlings are not aggressive on their own. Found clustered in small nests, they serve as sentries. When disturbed, they emit a piercing, high-pitched screech that echoes through the tunnels, summoning adult Crystlings to their defense. The nests are often hidden in narrow cracks or crevices, requiring careful navigation to avoid triggering an attack.

Unique Trait: Hatchlings can slip through narrow cracks in walls or floors, appearing in places the player thought were safe. Though individually harmless, their ability to summon more dangerous creatures makes them a priority to avoid or eliminate.
