A Christmas Carol has always been one of my favorite stories. Even as a child, the depth of Ebenezer Scrooge's isolation and inner struggle moved me deeply.
Since then, and to this day, I have always been a faithful admirer of Charles Dickens.

This is so wonderful! A classic story of endings and new beginnings that genuinely evokes the full range of emotions as only Dickens can, and you've depicted it so beautifully! I haven't told you this, but when I lived in London I lived across the street from Dickens' house, now a museum! Thank you so, so much for being a part of my gallery project, and indeed for helping me begin it in the first place! (I see I'm using up my entire allotment of exclamation points for the day, as usual.) 💗
