Ready For Adventure

With her wooden shield held high, and her loyal fox at her side, Phoenix stood atop the hill, gazing at the valley below. There was so much to discover, so many places unseen, and she was ready to document it all inside her notebook for later observation. Today was the day she hoped to prove the existence of a creature she'd only glimpsed briefly outside her camp. There were paw prints and tufts of fur, but no one believed her, yet. As she stared out, something caught her eye. It was something gliding over the tree tops. She began drawing it. It appeared to be a wolf with wings and feathers instead of fur. A feather floated down from the sky and Phoenix caught it in her hand. It was the softest thing she'd ever felt, and she ran her finger along the side a few times before looking up as the wolf flew right overheard. She had proof now! But instead of keeping the feather to show everyone, she tossed it into the wind. Her word was proof enough. Wow, I spent a while typing this. >:3
