The block was dark. The cables had been stolen, and a huge eucalyptus tree hid the cold June moon. The guard was sleeping in the booth, and only a black cat was watching him from the garden. He ran to the gate and jumped over it. In a corner, a very new red bike caught his eye. The thin chain did not resist much. He moved quickly and passed the bike over the fence.
