Music by Franz Nölken

A depiction of 'Music' in the style of German expressionist painter Franz Nölken who is best known for his portraits, still lifes, and landscapes. He was a member of the Brücke group, which was dedicated to the exploration of emotion and spirituality in art. Nölken's paintings are characterized by their use of bold colours, simplified forms, and expressive brushwork. He often used vibrant colours and thick brushstrokes to create a sense of movement and energy in his work. Nölken was born in Hamburg, Germany, in 1884. He studied art in Hamburg and Paris, and he was influenced by the work of artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Paul Cézanne, and Henri Matisse. Nölken died in 1918 at the age of 34. He was killed in action during World War I.
