Juggernaut v9 Lightning
A hyperdetailed portrait of a WWI French soldier, known as a "Poilu," set against a background of poppies and cornflowers. Painted with watercolor and ink on a torn cardboard texture, this artwork symbolizes the fragility of youth lost in war, with soft colors contrasting with the soldier’s solemn gaze.
Artistic Statement: This piece fuses watercolor realism with a layered, textural approach, drawing from cubist fragmentation and romantic symbolism. Influences from Picasso and Josephine Wall introduce expressive detail and introspective depth, while the torn cardboard background echoes the worn legacy of wartime memories, making it both raw and reverent.
Influencing Artists: Picasso, Josephine Wall, Otto Dix, Egon Schiele, Georges Rouault

You have put so much effort in your art, I love the portrait, it's amazing! From the small details of his face to uniform, flowers and background, it's beautiful.
Indeed, life is fleeting but hope and love always remains
