Light by Franz Marc

A depiction of 'Light' in the style of German expressionist painter Franz Marc. He is best known for his stylized animal paintings and was a founding member of the Der Blaue Reiter group, which was dedicated to the exploration of spirituality and emotion in art. Marc's paintings are characterized by their use of bright, bold colours, simplified forms, and spiritual symbolism. He often used animals as symbols for different human emotions or qualities. For example, he associated horses with strength and power, cows with motherhood, and sheep with innocence. Marc's work was highly influential in the development of expressionism and abstraction. He died at the age of 36 in World War I.
