Young Black man walking on railroad tracks.

I was waiting for the train yesterday to go to work. A young black man jumped on the tracks. There was no train coming, so at first I thought he was just playing. But then he walked up to the third rail, hesitated, then stepped on it. I was terrified. Everyone on the platform was watching. Nothing happened. He walked back to the platform, hopped up and started to pace. I walked over to him and struck up a conversation. He said, "Seems like God didn't want me to die today." Smile on his face, fear in his eyes. "What are you up to today?" I asked. He didn't have any plans except to get a Big Mac, but he didn't have any money. I gave him the $2 I had in my wallet. We talked about God, the Big Mac Index, and suicide until the train came. He got on with me and left at the next station. I wonder if he's testing God again today. Sorry for the dump, I'm clearly still processing.
