None of the plantlife that we encountered on the atoll were anything of this earth. DNA testing by our lab crew revealed something similar, but a warped consistency with the local native flora. The stone used to build the large pyramid in the center of the island was indentified as chondrite meteorite. 

Additionally, the ancient stone structure seemed to be anchored to the sea floor and not to the island itself. It was as if the grassy soil had come after, and not before, the Temple had been constructed. 

My superior will be here in 3 days, which is one of the many problems of being stuck in the middle of the Pacific. Until then, our precautionary orders are to keep a safe distance until a general SCP status can be established.
