I recently started finalizing this race, but unfortunately, I couldn't get a tail in here so I just ignored it for now and only focused on the horns. Chiylo tend to not have their tails out all the time anyway so it still works.

I intended a long time on having the people of Lanthdor being descended from more lizard-like Alphar tribes. I like the concept here that when they first moved to Lanthdor, because the local Lykons had an intense fear of Dragons the incoming Chiylo started to hide their horns.

This girl in question is actually named Borulth Toirahm (she claims to have no relation to Rajyhna Toirahm) and was originally intended to have white hair... the change is due to some storyline changes I made that necessitated it.

I've been shifting around the scope of my regions a little bit to try and clean up some of my character designs and Alphar subspecies to try and finalize my full concepts.

The Chiylo (shaylo) I had a rough concept in mind for a long time but never properly finalized the designs until now.

The Chiylo are essentially the land-based equivalent of Dragons, so they have reptilian tails and horns. Chiylo have chameleon-like tails, but variants have more traditional lizard-like tails (these ones did not settle in Lanthdor, though).

The biggest attributes I drew from were Iguana and Chameleon. Especially the latter, as I intended on them being strong in illusion magic. Chiylo is basically an shortened alt spelling of the scientific name for Chameleon.

Chiylo's most prominent and obvious attributes are the horns, as well as their short round ears. Due to a fear of Dragons in other parts of the world, some Chiylo cut off their horns to avoid the association.
