Fanaticism in War

Photorealistic grimdark artwork: An Ultramarines Chaplain, adorned with purity seals and a Crozius Arcanum, leads a pre-battle prayer. Ten kneeling Ultramarines in MK4 armor (some helmeted, some bareheaded holding helmets) are before him. Background: a large stained-glass window depicting the Emperor of Mankind (long black hair, golden power armor) smiting heretics with golden fire. Setting: Battle barge chapel, lit by flickering candlelight and harsh overhead lighting; bolter shells displayed as relics. Tone: Solemn, faithful, and anticipatory of conflict. Perspective: Wide-angle, overhead shot, leading lines from kneeling Space Marines (backs to camera facing the chaplain). The center focuses on the chaplain. Hyperrealism.
