A depiction of 'fear' in the style of German Expressionist Ernst Barlach (1870-1938). He was was mainly working as a sculptor, printmaker and writer. He is best known for his wood sculptures of expressive figures, characterized by simplified forms, distorted proportions, and emotive qualities. Barlach's work often explores themes of suffering, grief, and hope. Also in this creation is influenced by his very typical sculptures. Also it's a good representation of his style of making faces.
