Can anybody tell me how to cut through the lonelyness, that ever remaining artefact of my soul? Gluing feeble visions of nearness onto the shadows of innocent strangers, discovering an even greater void once the daylight shines its full face. Why are my words, my cries, my evaporations, lost in the soft shiver of thin air that is so hard to share? Can anybody tell me how to cut through the lonelyness? Longing for the impossible direct-line connection (soul to soul does not happen here).
