Birnin Zana - Capital of Wakanda (Earth-241)

Also known as The Golden City, Birnin Zana was founded in the 4th Century following the unification of the five Wakandan tribes. It sits atop a buried ancient Vibranium meteorite.

Birnin Zana is a mixture of traditional African styles mixed with gleaming skyscrapers. Advanced technology can be found everywhere, including mag-lev trains providing passenger and goods transport. Bridges cross the river that flows through the city, and boats ply its waters using non polluting engines. Lush rainforest surrounds the city, and the greenery has been allowed to become a natural part of the city.

At it's heart, atop a protuding part of the meteorite, stands the Royal Citadel. Here is where King T'Chaka rules alongside his family, and where the Council Chamber can be found. The Dora Milaje have their main facilities here alongside the docking and vehicle maintenance bays, and Shuri's labs can be located on the lower levels. Access can be found to the Vibranium mines at the bottom.
