Akhorahil was a ranger, for two months. He was mortally wounded in a skirmish with easterlings. The only one killed on the Gondorian side out of the 26 men in his company. He had promised little Ru, 15 at the time, that he would return, but what came back wasn't Akhorahil anymore.
