This dominion occupies a rural section of the southeastern coastline along the Sapphire Sea, where cliffs of black basalt stand resolutely against the crashing waves. The lone settlement of any significant size in this dominion is the capital named Luminiare, known throughout the Coalition for the quality of its sculpture and masonry. What makes this dominion fairly unique is the fact the rulers of the dominion are a mated pair of mature adult bronze dragons. The female member of the duo does not involve herself much in the running of the duchy, instead devoting her time to the care and mentoring of the couple’s many young full-blooded and half-blooded dragon children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The male in the pair shows a more active interest in governance, overseeing his half-blooded and thin-blooded descendants as they compete (always honorably) against one another to gain his favor and greater control over the duchy.
