My latest depiction of a Nigerian mermaid. (I've done this a few times before.) My assumption is that she is interested in the surface world, and tries to maintain something of a social life, but she has to keep her smartphone hidden on this reef in a watertight container because it wouldn't work very well at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. Incidentally, I used the facial features of Nigerian actress Chizzy Alichi.

Hello everyone there were so many absolutely amazing images. All 1195 of you. I couldn't be any happier about the turnout. I want to thank everyone of you for joining my challenge.
