Drowned Host

The Drowned Host moves sluggishly, dragging its waterlogged limbs with heavy, wet thuds, but it possesses a unique ability: it can summon pools of mist that transform into watery traps. These puddles of water and mist seem harmless at first, but they can suddenly surge upward, pulling the player or other enemies into a suffocating grasp. The Host uses these traps to slowly drown its victims, relishing in their struggle as they gasp for air.

The Host’s face is the most disturbing aspect: its eyes are missing entirely, replaced by empty, gaping holes that leak water constantly, while its mouth is a wide, lipless maw filled with jagged, coral-like teeth. Its body is covered in torn remnants of clothing, but these are now fused with the slimy organic matter that clings to it. Large, eel-like tendrils sprout from its back, writhing in the air as though searching for prey.
