Bruce and Ossie Davis made quite a team. I was lucky to see “Bubba Ho-Tep” during a limited theatrical run way back in the day. Bruce Campbell was even there for an audience Q&A after the screening. That was an experience.

My husband saw something by chance on the internet and volunteered to be the Bubba Ho-Tep "street team" for the Milwaukee showing in 2003, which meant he sat in the lobby of the Oriental Theatre selling posters and t-shirts, and trying to explain the movie to people who were there to see Master and Commander in the main theatre 😆 As a reward he has a Bubba Ho-Tep poster signed by Don Coscarelli, and we got t-shirts too!

My reaction, as well. It didn't occur to me at first to try adding sunglasses to the prompt, but I'm glad I did. This all began as a torturous experiment to try and make a "Phantasm"-"Evil Dead" crossover which couldn't work out, but then I'm glad I kept Bruce Campbell and Don Coscrarelli close in my mind. It's relieving to have something this good to share with you and everyone else, haha.
