Star-Crossed Lovers

The Dhonoaran elf, Ellyesce, was once a powerful mahgen—a being similar to a mage who has magic and casts spells—and the instructor of aspiring Mystics, among them a woman named Archadenaeh, whom he later fell in love with. Denaeh felt similar love for and attraction to her instructor, but she was swept off her feet when the young, debonair king of the neighboring province of Ghorium paid flattering attentions to her, stealing her heart and proposing to her. She accepted the Kings proposal, betraying Ellyesce’s love for and trust in her, to become his Queen.
