Post World War Two, there was a lot of overconfidence regarding what industry could accomplish.

I once drove by a barn in Baker, Nevada, which is the sort of decaying small town which features tobacco-spitting men warning college students that they are not welcome in these parts. For example, one house had two creepy dolls hanging off a fence, and there was a paddock with a rusted out car that had a skeletal horse's head and hooves wired to the steering wheel.

The barn was falling down, with a caved-in roof, but it had a small white sign on the side with handwritten text reading "Museum of the Future".

Something about art imitating life goes here. Or life imitating art.

Either way, 👍

Solid work!

Recoredil was a medicine they toyed with in years past. It was meant to improve memory, but ultimately exploded the brains of all its patients. Sad story, really.

Why mine metals when you can just grow them on farms?!

true story

The industrialists ploughed all that into the CBOT and CME.

I always walk away from here with a feel good heart and a spring in my step, the hope you project is infectious

I'm gonna prompt Recoredil
