Eyes on the ground

You drop your eyes,
Don't know how but you did
Didn't know this was possible before
Taught me another thing

When they saw me first,
They were vivid,
There was no voice, no fear;
Now it was clear.

The way you looked at me was on the floor.
Left behind.
The way you were whole was on the floor.
Right in front

I took the eyes,
But you were gone.
When I understand it was time,
I buried them alive.

First I kissed the soil.
Then, I dig it under your watch.
The third step was the hardest of them all.

Put them on the floor, one last look.
A bit more and more.
It was hurting now,
Better to cover all.

Soil to Soil
Eyes to eyes
Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
Eyes were gone
It was weeping time
Ohh, wait, why so dark?

The god of wet eyes under the floor
Please don't let me refuse.
If the eyes grow out,
Let them make me confuse.
