Fact takes no heed of feeble human hopes;/
as weeds and nettles in green meadows grow/
in reaching tangled tendrils so to choke/
whatever on that soil mankind may sow.
Again we rise for need to plant and coax/
when tiny verdant spots arise from toil;/
we find indeed a vain and empty hoax:/
false flourishing from sun and shade recoils.
And when the Sleeper, waking from his dream,/
sets foot to floor a slow new day to meet,/
he finds in lieu of soft and light moonbeams/
Reality as solid, harsh concrete;/
Each day She lives, while rising tall to gloat/
and forces us to drink Dreams' antidote.

- Imagine a scene in a field overgrown with nettles and brambles as a Victorian gothic painting with surrealist elements. A man kneels before an exaggeratedly tall woman dressed in black robes forces him to drink a bottle of glowing potion. Dark colors.Weight: 1
