In the Second Age of Eternity's First Era, called the War of the Eternals, there is a nation that calls itself Heodar. This nation is protected by the Honor Guard. At one point in the Second Age, the Honor Guard is led by a sorceress named Aroura Rend. She was by no means Eternity's most powerful sorcerer, or greatest swordsman. However, it was the combination of her skill with blade, supplemented by her arcane power that earned her this title. She had direct ties to Heodar's royal family, and was the best friend of the king's youngest daughter. Whilst on a mission to rescue the king's daughter from the deadly cult, which calls itself the Kindrean ave Aeturan, she fell in love with the templar named Aryas Derther.
