The Memory Spiral

Clocks drift like petals, Pumpkins pulse through dotted winds— Time forgets itself.

A red-dotted figure floats amid a swirl of pumpkins, clocks, and polka-dots suspended in deep blue space. Her gaze is distant, her posture statuesque, as if caught in the slipstream of memory and time. This piece bridges fashion surrealism with cosmic introspection.

Artistic Statement: “The Memory Spiral” interprets Yayoi Kusama’s visual universe through an emotional and temporal lens. Polka dots are no longer pattern—they’re particles of thought, grief, obsession. Pumpkins multiply into orbits. Timepieces appear broken or adrift, unmoored. The subject sits still at the eye of the storm, embodying Kusama’s lifelong battle between self and infinity.
