Would you believe that, as I scrolled, I thought this looked like somewhere I knew. Upon reading your description, it turns out I Do! I grew-up in the Marlborough Sounds, just way further out; think over those hills on the very left. I have been to Waikawa Bay many times and plan to be there again this Christmas.

As soon as I saw the thumbnail I thought of NZ! Utterly beautiful! There were quite a few baches on hillsides that the powers that be made the owners remove them .
