Returning to Oescienne… Without Jaax

The Crimson King’s reign is finally over, Ciarrhon has been banished from Ethoes, and Jahrra is at last free to return home to Oescienne. But her defeat of the Crimson King cost her dearly: it cost her the life of her friend, Kehllor, and the life of her best friend, mentor, and guardian, the great Tanaan dragon, Raejaaxorixx. Jahrra is devastated by the death of Jaax and she isn’t the same—she had come to depend so much on Jaax and grew so close to him, even telling him he was her best friend. Now he’s gone, and Jahrra feels like she’s lost a part of herself, lost in her grief and bittersweet memories of her time with him. Will she ever recover?
