Cuno Amiet

Cuno Amiet (Cuno Peter Amiet; 1868 – 1961) was a Swiss artist and a prominent figure in early 20th-century Swiss art. Amiet's work is characterised by his vibrant use of colour and his contribution to the Modernism movement. He was deeply influenced by Post-Impressionism, symbolised by his application of bold and expressive brushstrokes.
