Neville Moore (+ Polyphonic Prose)

This story begins at the beginning, as most stories do, on a day that was sunny and the sky a deep blue. The whole world seemed fresh and new. The fields were filled with corn and Neville was yet to be born.

No doctors were near, the hospital was too far away. Sometimes it just happens that way. This was the case, on that late summer day. Neville wasn’t born in a hospital bed. He was born in a cornfield, instead. Yes, Neville was born in the corn. Maybe that was the difference, only this and nothing more, but it changed the whole world for young Neville Moore.

Out in that cornfield, there was something unexpected. All the birds were somehow deeply affected, as if Neville had been especially selected. From that very first day, they all seemed connected.
