Alien Abduction

There are no words for the sound the sky made when it tore open.

Not thunder. Not wind. Something older. Something hungry.

Shadows bled from the wound, flooding the horizon, drowning the sun in a tide of black. Children vanished mid-breath. Dogs went mad and broke their own necks against their chains. Every church bell rang itself to ruin.

And then the world went silent.

She stepped through the silence like it was hers — because it was.

Eyes like collapsed stars. A crown of bone and ruin. And when her gaze fell upon us, we understood a single, devastating truth:

There is no running from Nyxthara, Devourer of Dawn. There is no begging. There is only the moment where you realize you were never alive — not really — and that now, finally, you belong to her.

Somewhere, deep beneath the earth, something began to scream. It hasn’t stopped since.
