“Anti-flier guys flung metal nets in the sky.” Corporal Lance shrugged. “Guess where it landed.”

Sirra understood they’d spent the majority of the day so far just untangling everything. But it also meant the fliers knew whereand what this place was. Hard to miss nearly a land-measure of supplies in orderly rows. The pilots followed the road to the town. She wondered if the road was more useful to the flier than it was to the car.

She realized the truck wasn’t full of sleeping mowril - it was full of mowril Dolls. “That’s…weird.” She indicated the truck bed.

Lance turned, looked, and shrugged. “Nah. Medical stuff, comfort magic. What’s weird is I have no clue where the cab is. Although…” He looked at some markings Sirra couldn’t see. “This was supposed to go into town. That IS odd.”

Sirra plucked one of the dolls out and was shocked to find it weighed less than a sock. “Are these supposed to be empty?”

He grabbed another and shook it. “Nope.”
