Chibi Festival in Orange

Orange is color of love.. Warmth of smile, glow of skin.. Hue of wine, spice of sin.. Orange is light of night.. Flicker of candles, Jack-o-Lantern's grin.. Flame of passion, fire within.. Orange is shield of life.. Ward of all hues but orange, banish 'em to gray.. Power of bond, bright of day..

Met at Halloween party, dressed in matchin' orange outfits.. One was pumpkin, one was carrot.. Laughed at coincidence and exchanged numbers.. Soon discovered more in common than costumes. Both loved orange wines, orange cats, and orange sunsets. Celebrate anniversary on October 31st, the night first met.. Booked table at restaurant that had a special Halloween menu.. Ordered orange wines and shared pumpkin soup. Gazed into each other's eyes and toasted to love.. Candlelit Jack-o-Lantern in the center, carved with smilin' face, which meant to ward off all hues but orange.. Love was like orange light, brightenin' world and keepin' away the darkness...
