She took my hand and shook it firmly. Her grip was strong and warm. "I'm Kazar," she said. "Kazar the Brain Masher."

I approached her table and cleared my throat. "Hello there," I said, trying to sound casual. "Can I buy you another drink?"

She looked up at me and smiled. Her teeth were white and sharp, but somehow charming. "Sure," she said in a husky voice. "Why not?"

I signaled to the barkeep and ordered two more mugs of green ale. I sat down across from her and extended my hand. "I'm Rian," I said. "Rian the Swift."

Her eyes were emerald green, shining like jewels in the dim light. Her lips were crimson red, inviting me to taste them. She wore a suit of leather armor that accentuated her curves and a cloak of black bear fur that gave her an air of wildness. She was sipping a mug of green ale, the kind that makes your stomach churn and your head spin. I felt a surge of courage and curiosity. I had to buy her a drink and learn her name.

I never thought I would fall for an Orc, but fate had other plans for me when I entered the tavern last Saturday night. I was with my hunting party, a motley crew of elves, dwarves and halflings. We had slain a fearsome dragon and claimed its hoard. With our pockets full of gold and our spirits high, we decided to celebrate at the tavern. It was there I saw her, the most stunning Orc I had ever laid eyes on. She had raven-black hair that cascaded over her shoulders like a waterfall of darkness. Her face was long and sharp, with pointed ears that twitched at every sound.
