The air inside the safehouse was stale and heavy, the faint smell of sweat and fear lingering in the dimly lit room. The small group of Christians sat in uneasy silence, the tension thick in the air. But Daniel Harper felt something else now. Something darker, more foreboding, was about to come upon the world. He had seen the First Seal break—the rider of conquest. The vision struck suddenly, as it had before.
The walls of the safehouse faded into nothing, and Daniel was lifted into the same blinding light that had accompanied his previous visions. His breath caught in his throat as the world around him dissolved into a new, radiant plane where the Lamb once again stood at the center of the heavens, the scroll held firmly in its hands.
The Lamb, its body marred by the marks of its slaughter, reached out to the scroll, its movements deliberate and steady. Daniel’s pulse quickened, his heart pounding as he watched the Lamb break the Third Seal.
A sound like thunder rolled across the heavens, and from the broken seal emerged a black horse. Its rider was cloaked in darkness, covered in black robes that billowed as he rode forward. In his hands, he held a pair of scales, the delicate balance of justice and inequity held firmly between his fingers.
