The Derro are small, dwarf-like humanoids with pale, ghostly blue or white skin. Their large, dark eyes are adapted to the darkness of the Underdark, giving them a perpetually sinister look. They have wild, unkempt hair, often white or gray, and twisted expressions filled with madness. Derro wear ragged, patchwork clothing made from scavenged materials. They possess darkvision, innate chaotic madness, and skills in stealth and subterfuge. Often using poison on their weapons, they are adept at ambushing enemies. Found in the Underdark, Derro are cunning and cruel, delighting in causing pain and chaos, and conducting bizarre experiments on captives.
