Carney Park is a US Navy park in Naples, Italy built into the caldera of a dormant volcano. While we were stationed there, it was a small bit of American paradise in a foreign culture. I was only eight when we moved there, and I needed a place like this.

I wrote a short story about some of my adventures there. Please go give it a read: https://medium.com/@minus1digit/carney-park-adventures-15d8cbb1b8ed ↗️
