Wondrous Items: Animated Dragon Shield

I used to question and worry about what would become of me after surviving the destruction of my party. How would I survive being a solo adventurer when the dungeon claimed the lives of my companions?

Turns out, I didn't need to concern myself for long about that for the treasure in the dungeon was a set of sentient ego weapons each with their own personalities. The shield which sported a Dragons Head at its crown, had the ability to enlarge itself and move around under its own power. He became my companion as we trekked back across the desert of the over-world.
