Thanks! yeah you win some and you lose some. The weighting needs to be right, apparently. Someone also suggested a negate prompt but I don't have enough credits to mess around like that at the moment.   

The negative prompt goes along with the positive prompt for the same cost.  It doesn't guarantee you will get a good picture, but it definitely helps.  I set the strength of the negative all the way to -3 and it seems to work, most of the time.
