In this support room defining popular terminology I give open feedback. Which I haven't in my parallel "Beefcake Cyberpunk" twist on the DC:

Even though we did much better here.

The winner David Resnick demonstrates that you don't necessarily need references to Chinatown and building decay - though his eerie room is full of technology, but not scifi walls - when the caption and the protagonist are this intensely ethically corrupt, lol. That's what it takes to win - if cyberpunk fans vote.

In the DC most aren't. The Top 20 feature 1 clear visual reference, 3 slight ones, 1 in caption & no ethical decay at all. The winner's caption is wrong.

Next:

Haha, this is a fun one! The rust, dark moody buildings of potentially decay and cable piracy signalling societal decay with parallel technical advancements signal that this is indeed cyberpunk. My advise would be to amplify ethical decay in the caption.
