Lonesome Vigil

Beneath the cerulean sky, where sea and heaven blend, A woman stands, her gaze fixed upon the distant horizon. Her robe, like the foamy waves, drapes over her form, Its weave echoing the ache within her heart.

Longing dances in her eyes, a tempest of desire, As if the sea itself whispers secrets only she can hear. Salt-kissed winds tousle her hair, a wild embrace, And memories surge like tides, relentless and bittersweet.

What does she seek? Perhaps a lost love's return, Or answers carried away by seagulls on their wings. Her feelings etched against the canvas of eternity, She yearns for solace, for a ship to sail her dreams.

And so she lingers, a solitary figure on the rugged cliff, Caught between earth and sea, between hope and surrender. In her longing, she becomes both vessel and voyage, Seeking refuge in the vast expanse, seeking herself.
