Pyrographic art. A woodburning on a lightly lacquered plank of Arizona walnut. A scene of a late 19th century era, young Comanche horseman breaking a Texas Southern Plains Mustang stallion. The exhausted young horse is captured mid buck, twisting and bucking as it attempts to dislodge the determined rider. The horse's eyes, nostrils and mouth are flared wide with fright and exhaustion, and the young rider leans forward against the animal's withers, with both hands clasping the horse's mane close to its neck, thighs pressed tightly against the animals flanks. His face is set in a determined expression. Clean, dark black char lines and light shadowing, crisp details. Black and tan only, no either colors. No white. Three quarter side profile.
