Felice Casorati

Felice Casorati (1883 – 1963) was an Italian painter and sculptor associated with the Symbolism and Magic Realism movements. His art style is characterised by a blend of classical forms and dreamlike, surreal compositions, often depicting figures in stark, geometric settings that evoke a sense of stillness and contemplation. Casorati primarily used oil paints on canvas, employing a technique that emphasised precise lines, smooth surfaces, and a subdued, often muted colour palette.
