Wow, I love this so much!! This soft painting style is really effective in creating a peaceful, enchanting atmosphere. The smudged pinks and whites and that create the flowers are softness incarnate, and the falling snow, gracefully floating down from the sky, only add to the scene's tender feel. The gentle glow of the rising sun creates a feeling of warmth to the ethereal, as spring and winter are intertwined and a wholesome beauty spreads throughout the land with its ascendance. The silhouettes of the mountains in the background, with their pink and purple tints, the small farmhouse, the tree with its wonderful blossoms, the fields of grass and the nature spreading forever beyond... Not simply picturesque, but, as Elliie said, magical.
