RABBIT RADAR (+ Polyphonic Prose)

His lucky rabbit’s paw was lost, back when he was very small. Even though, for a rabbit, he was still fairly tall. When Jim was fully grown, he had no friends of his own, and most often was completely alone.

There was something afoot, with Jim's phantom hind limb, as no one ever messed with him. He had one foot in the grave, already, which gave him visions, many clear and steady. He always knew when any threat arose, long before it got too close. Jim’s eyesight, from eating carrots, was always clear and bright. He could hear threats whenever near, with his gigantic sized bunny rabbit ears.

Santa asked Jim if he’d ride the snow sleigh with the reindeer and him. As flying high has some dangers and risks; when off course, Jim’s whiskers even start to twitch. He wanted Jim to look around, while high off the ground, to keep them all safe and sound.

Jim said, “Yes, it would be my honor to help you, Santa Claus!” No truer friend than Jim, even without his lucky rabbit paw.
