Howlpack Peak - Hunting Grounds

Deep within the alpine forest of Nyrin lies the highest point in the Cragspine Mountain range, Howlpack Peak. Very few dare to venture this deep within the forest, let alone climb the peak due to the rumors of werewolves during the full moon. Due to the local flora and fauna a very unusual mushroom grows here, the Crimson Shade. Its signature red cap acts very odd during the blood moon, giving off its signature red glow, causing the whole forest around Howlpack Peak to almost glow an eerie red during this time. No one has ever been able to confirm if there are werewolves here though, however, no one has ever returned to deny this either. During the night lots of howls can be heard from all directions in the forest, causing many to become disoriented, lost, and ultimately perish. What else lies within this forest, we may never know.
