Henri Le Fauconnier

Henri Le Fauconnier (1881–1946) was a French painter known for his significant contributions to Cubism. His art style is characterised by the use of geometric shapes, fragmented forms, and a muted colour palette, often depicting landscapes, portraits, and still lifes in a highly abstract manner. Le Fauconnier primarily used oil paints on canvas, employing a technique that emphasised structure and form over representational accuracy. His work is closely associated with the Cubism movement, where he was a key figure in its development alongside artists like Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque.
