Welsh Legends: The Afanc

The Afanc is a creature from Welsh Folklore, often described as a dangerous, water-dwelling monster. While some stories picture it as a crocodile-like beast, others imagine it as a giant serpent. It symbolizes the untamable power of nature, particularly water. In one famous myth, heroes battle the Afanc to stop a flood that threatens their village. The creature's presence in these tales underscores not just fear, but respect for nature's raw force. Inspiration from @WenZen 🥰

The cover image reminds me of a dimetrodon. I like it! [[|:-)
Not a creature I would want to come across.
You have captivated us with another folklore. My first time hearing about this one. Awesome 💯
